Memory Seams products are customised keepsakes created from your cherished fabrics or garments. We transform those into beautiful products you can continue to use, love, hug, and treasure.
2. What is the process to making new memory products?
CHECK: How do I know if my fabric is suitable?
Pick your garment you wish to be made into a Seams Product. Please ensure the fabric is still strong, usable, and not overly fragile, torn, or deteriorated. Fabrics that are extremely worn may not withstand the customisation process.
CONTACT: How do I begin the process?
Send clear images of your garment/fabric to teamseammms@gmail.com along with your selected products from our website you would like made.
CONFIRM: What happens after I send the images?
Our team will review: Fabric condition (please send good quality images), product feasibility, approximate fabric requirements, pricing and production timelines. Once you approve the quotation and details, pay 50% of quotation then we proceed with your order.
CLEAN: Should I wash the garments before sending them?
Yes. If the fabric has been stored for a long time, please gently wash and air dry it before sending or dry clean. Clean fabrics help ensure the best production quality and longevity of your customised product.
CUT: How should I prepare the fabric before shipping?
Please send: Flat square or rectangular fabric pieces only, Neatly cut sections wherever possible
Please do NOT send: Full garments, irregularly shaped pieces, fabric with heavy embellishments unless discussed beforehand
This helps streamline production and minimise fabric damage.

3. What products can be made?
Only those products that are already designed and available on our websites form part of this offer. If there is something special needed, then a discussion will follow to agree what’s doable.
4. How much fabric is needed?
Fabric requirements vary based on the product (design and volumes) and will be agreed as part of the discussion.
5. Can multiple garments be combined into one product?
Yes. Multiple garments or fabrics can often be combined, subject to feasibility and agreement
6. Can you work with delicate or ornamented fabrics?
We do our best to handle every fabric with care and respect. However, extremely delicate, old, stretchy, embellished, or damaged fabrics carry higher production risks and may not be accepted.
7. How long does the process take?
Estimated timelines will be shared during the confirmation stage but can take between 30-45 days.
8. Will the final product look exactly like the sample images?
Each Memory Seams product is unique because every fabric behaves differently. While we aim to achieve the closest possible outcome, slight variations in placement, stitching, and appearance are part of the handcrafted process.
9. Do you return unused fabric?
Smaller remnants may be retained or responsibly discarded depending on size and condition.
10. How should I care for my Memory Seams product?
This depends on the fabric and the product produced. Our wash recommendations will form part of our discussions and agreement.
11. What should customers know before placing an order?
Custom memory products involve working with sentimental and sometimes delicate fabrics, certain risks are inherent in this level of customisation. By proceeding with an order, customers acknowledge that the customisation process carries risk, and results may vary depending on fabric condition. The final risk lies with the customer.
12. How will Seams Unbranded use the images / photos of the fabric or products made?
We are keen for more people to create their own memories from their garments. To promote the service, for advertising and marketing purposes, Seams will use the images (Photos) of shared fabric, design sketches (if made during the collaboration) and final products made. By collaborating with Seams, the customer gives their acceptance to Seams for this use.
